Chief Executive LESCO has said that, the sharp reduction in water release from Terbela and Mangla reservoirs, supply of gas suspension to a large number of thermal power stations, are contributing shortage of Electricity. At present LESCO is getting 1280MW from 0100 hours to 1800 hours and 1600 MW during 1800 hours to 2400 hours which is about half 50% of total load required by LESCO. To safeguard the system, load management becomes necessary for which consumers are requested to observe energy conservation measures so that the load management is reduced he said.
