Disbursement of pension to retired employees is the top priority of LESCO and this luminous practice would be continued in future. This was stated by Chief Executive, Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), Sharafat Ali Sial while handing over pension papers and souvenirs to 26 LESCO employees retired during December from service after attaining the superannuation age. They include Assistant Managers Mohammad Aslam Zahid and Malik Masood Javed, Security Guards Nawaz Ali, Abdul Hameed and Abbas Ali. Lineman Grade-1 Sultan Ahmad Siddiqi, Abdul Rasheed, Shoukat Ali and Muhammad Amin, Commercial Assistant Anwar Masih, Line Man-2 Muhammad Ashfaq and Feroz Din, Assistant Line Man Muhammad Siddique, Abdul Razzaq, Muhammad Mansha, Abdul Majeed and Muhammad Nazir, Naib Qasid Rasheed Ahmad and Muhammad Akram Shah, Mali Sain Muhammad, Chowkidar Mukhtar Ahmad, Daftri Muhammad Rafique, Jr.Supr. Tariq Mehmood Bhatti, LFM-2 Abdul Ghafoor, Foreman Nusrat Ali & AFM Syed Haider Ilyas Zaidi. LESCO Chief Sharafat Ali Sial further said that all employees were like family members and valuable asset of the company. All out efforts have been made to ensure timely payment of pension to all LESCO retired employees, he added. Over 1717 retired employees have so far been given pension documents since the ceremony started seven years ago. The ceremony was attended by Chief Engineers Ehsan Ellahi, Gulzar Ahmed Bhatti, Director Operation Farasat Zaman, Human Resource Director Saghir Ahmad, Additional Manager Public Relations Javaid Ahmad Khan among others.
